Whilst not traditionally a spinal unit the DHS scoop is so rigid it is considered by many emergency services as a superior spinal unit for immobilization and transfer of suspected spinal cases. The DHS scoop also features low profile design, multiple attachment points and simple to use lock and release mechanisms.

The updated version of the classic extrication device is available from DHS and features a similar strapping system with improved head restraint.

The Rescue board is a short back board to assist in patient extrication and spinal stabilization. Unique design gives rigidity and strength. Can also be used for protection during patient access.
